The title contention for the AMA Arenacross title is as tight as ever been! Once again at the Ocean Center for Round 12 and the second of a triple-header in Daytona, the fight between Kyle Peters and Ryan Breece is on fire right now with 2 points separating them with two rounds to go.

It wasn’t an easy night for either of them. At the first Main Event, Peters, who has decided to switch to a 450cc bike, won with a wire-to-wire performance over Clark and Joshua Boaz. Meanwhile, Breece finished 4th. That race was a big relief for Peters who extended his points lead from 3 to 10. However, things turn around in Main 2 for the reigning champ.
Main 2 put the front-runners on the back row and flipped the race-one finish order. Chase Marquier grabbed the holeshot and kept things under control until the checkered flag over Chandler Baker. Breece had a regular start from the second row but got the overall by finishing 3rd. Peters, on the other hand, went down in the first lap and charged from dead last to 7th.
Breece was credited with the overall via 4-3. Last weekend´s winner Izaih Clark was 2nd (2-6) and Peters save the last podium spot as he went 1-7.
The penultimate round will take place Saturday night at the same venue. Can Breece finally grab the Red Plate before going to the Las Vegas finale?
