Finally! The ClubMX Yamaha amateur rider put all the pieces together at the perfect moment, delivering a flawless performance in the SMX Next season finale in Pittsburgh to clinch the title.
Coming into the final, Fedorstov was one of the standout stories of the class, with bad luck costing him two potential wins — a flat tire while leading in Daytona, and a crash from the front in Birmingham.
This time, however, Fedorstov took control from the start and never looked back, leading from the opening lap to the checkered flag.
Landen Gordon put on a late charge to claim second but ran out of laps to mount a real challenge.
Enzo Temmerman rounded out the podium, giving Team Green Kawasaki a strong double podium finish.
