Alessandro Lupino and Valerio Lata make history in Arco Di Trento – Italian Prestige

Alessandro Lupino gave Ducati the first-ever motocross title this weekend at the final round of the Italian Prestige Championship in Arco Di Trento. Lupino finished 4-3 for third overall, collecting enough points to secure his sixth title in the series and the first for Ducati.

Andrea Bonacorsi won the overall with a perfect 1-1 followed by title contender Jan Pancar (2-2).

After an exciting season, which began with a debut victory in Mantova and 2 more moto victories, Alessandro Lupino, official rider of Ducati Corse Off-Road, won the MX1 Italian Motocross Prestige Championship in the last round held this weekend in Arco di Trento. This success confirms the validity of the off-road project, which includes the development of a complete range of Ducati bikes and engines for specialized off-road riding.

The Ducati Desmo450 MX will enter production in 2025 and reach dealers in the first half of the year while, in racing, the Borgo Panigale company’s commitment will be doubled. In fact, the Swiss Jeremy Seewer will ride the Desmo450 MX in the MXGP World Championship, flanked by a second rider, while in the Ducati Italian Championship, nine-time Italian Champion Alessandro Lupino will debut the new Desmo250 MX, to develop the new 250cc model, always being able to count on the support of 9-time World Champion Tony Cairoli.

MX2: VALERIO LATA 6 OUT OF 6

In MX2 Valerio Lata from Beddini GasGas seizes his sixth win of the season, completing an almost perfect season that has seen him win 10 out of 12 motos. Lata has become the first rider to win every single overalls since the inception of the Italian Prestige Championship in 2009.

The Roman, who was second in race one behind teammate Mads Fredsoe, won the second moto in order to take the overall over the Dane rider (1-2). Third place of the day went for rookie and this year 125cc champion Simone Mancini (Fantic) with a 5-3 scores.
