Already crowned champions before the finale, Roan van de Moosdijk and Nicolai Skovbjerg wrapped up the 2026 ADAC MX Masters season with overall victories at the final round in Drehna, Germany.
Despite securing their titles one round early, both riders added another win to their impressive campaigns.
Van de Moosdijk was untouchable in the premier class. The Kosak Racing Team rider swept all three motos over the weekend. On Saturday, he grabbed his first holeshot of the season and cruised to a dominant victory. He then completed the perfect weekend on Sunday with another pair of convincing wins after taking the lead early in both races.
Coming into the finale, Jere Haavisto (Schmicker Silver Racing) and Jörgen-Matthias Talviku (Yamaha) were separated by just one point in the battle for third place in the championship. Haavisto’s fifth-place finish in Saturday’s race initially put him at a disadvantage against Talviku’s runner-up result. However, two second-place finishes on Sunday elevated the Finn to second overall for the weekend and secured him the championship bronze medal after Talviku retired from the final race of the day.
Skovbjerg Triumphs in the Youngster Cup
In the Youngster Cup, Nicolai Skovbjerg (SixtySeven Husqvarna) dominated Saturday’s moto and the opening race on Sunday. His hopes of a perfect weekend were disrupted in the final race when he became involved in a first-turn crash with several other riders.
The Danish youngster responded with an impressive charge through the field, climbing back to second place and finishing just behind race winner Sebastian Leok. Leok’s victory allowed him to secure a place on the overall podium with 3-15-1 moto scores.
Second overall went to Finland’s Saku Manssikamäki (KTM), whose consistent 2-2-4 finishes earned him the runner-up spot, while Skovbjerg’s resilience was enough to seal yet another overall victory to close out his championship-winning season.
