The 2026 Motul ACU British Motocross Championship title fights continue this Sunday, 3rd May, with a visit to the excellent Cadders Hill venue in Lyng, Norfolk where fans are in for a real treat with the MX1 title fight being super tight, MX2 being as unpredictable as ever.
The battle in the MX1 class of the ACU British Championship could hardly be any closer, with the fight for the red plate set to deliver plenty of drama between its main contenders. Ben Watson (DirtStore Triumph) and Oriol Oliver (GabrielSS24 KTM) arrive tied at the top of the standings on 85 points each, while reigning champion Conrad Mewse (Crendon Tru7 Honda) sits just three points behind them. With such small margins separating the frontrunners, everything remains wide open heading into the motos.
The MX2 category is also shaping up to be one of the highlights of the weekend, packed with uncertainty and excitement. Charlie Heyman (SC Sporthomes Husqvarna) comes into the round as championship leader, holding a six-point advantage over Gyan Doensen (Gabriel SS24 KTM).
However, the title fight is far from being a two-rider showdown. Reigning champion Tommy Searle (DirtStore Triumph) heads into the event with renewed momentum after his victory at Preston Docks, leading an incredibly tight chasing pack where the next five riders are separated by just three points.
