Conrad Mewse Clinches 2025 ACU British Championship

The ACU British Championship headed to Duns, Scotland, for a double-header weekend with Rounds 6 and 7 taking place on Saturday and Sunday.

The bad news for Conrad Mewse was that his winning streak finally came to an end with the arrival of Jeffrey Herlings, who dominated the event by winning all four motos. The good news, however, is that Mewse scored enough points to secure the championship with one round still to go.

Riding for Crendon Tru7 Honda, Mewse had previously won all ten motos of the season, but there was little he could do against Herlings’ pace. Still, consistent 2-2-2-2 finishes were more than enough to lock in his fifth ACU British title, and his second in the premier class after earlier crowns in MX2.

Adam Sterry (4-3) joined the podium on Saturday, while Josh Gilbert (3-3) did so on Sunday.
