The 2025 provisional MXGP Motocross World Championship calendar has been updated, adding the Grand Prix of Agueda (Portugal) and Matterley Basin (England).
The Agueda Grand Prix will return for another year after the historic victory of Pauls Jonass, this time as part of the seventh round, to be held on May 3 and 4, 2025. The event will also host rounds 5 and 6 of the EMX250 and EMX125 categories respectively.
Another update concerns the return of Matterley Basin after the cancellation of one of the two rounds to be held in Indonesia on June 29. The event will be replaced by the Matterley Basin Grand Prix on June 21-22, while the other Indonesian GP will take place on July 5-6, venue to be confirmed.
The MXGP of Matterley Basin will also host the ninth round of both the EMX250 and EMX125 European Championships.
Spain waits for the second MXGP round
After the announcement of these updates, the provisional MXGP 2025 calendar is maintained with a total of 20 Grand Prix. Cózar will be the second event on March 15-16. A second Spanish Grand Prix is also expected for May 10-11, although the venue has not yet been confirmed.
