The 43rd AMA Amateur National Motocross Championship at Loretta Lynn’s Ranch in Hurricane Mills, Tennessee, is approaching its end. After three days of pure racing, the first set of motos for all 36 classes is in the books. Now we are heading to the last two days which define the 2024 champions, starting this Friday with the last moto of the 250 Pro Sport class.

Thursday Recap:

So far, so good for Drew Adams. The Team Green Kawasaki rider has dominated the second moto of the Open Pro class and Today he will focus on doing the same at the final moto of the 250 Pro Sport class, which is leading the standings, to clinch the title.

Open Pro Sport Moto 2:

The second moto of the Open Pro Sport saw another wire-to-wire performance by Drew Adams.The Tennessee native positioned himself in the Top 10 at the start, and from there on he was consistently the fastest rider on track and make an impressive pass for the lead going wide open in the sand section. Once at front, he continued to pull away over the second half of the moto and took the checkered flag.

Adams now sits first in the Open Pro standings, but the final moto will take place on Saturday.

After an incredible climb from 34th to 4th place in the first 250 Pro Sport moto on Tuesday, followed by a perfect win on Wednesday, Adams leads the class standings and is in serious contention for the title at the end of the day.
